Dr. Manoj Agarwal is a management professional and a former Civil Servant (IAS) with 35+ year experience and key skills in Project/Operations Management, Public Transit, Policy Advocacy, and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). By Qualification he has done Ph.D in Management from GGS Indraprastha University Delhi, Masters’ in Public Policy (CIAP) from Ecole Nationale d’Administration (ENA), Paris, Master’s in Public Administration and Management (DESS) from University of Paris I, Pantheon Sorbonne, Paris 2003, MBA from Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow, Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) form National Institute of Technology.

Currently he is leading the start-up ecosystem and the incubator at IIT Jammu along with Centre for Essential Skills (CES). CES aims to impart Non- Cognitive skills to students of IIT Jammu as well as students from the general community. He is also teaching courses relates to Social and Scientific Responsibility, Financial Literacy and Entrepreneurship.

He served as Joint Secretary Urban Development Govt. of Delhi, Chief General Manager, Delhi Transport Corporation, and Additional District Magistrate etc. He also worked in private sector as Director- Land and Grid Development- SB Energy Pvt. Ltd. – Soft Bank Group, Head Public Affairs, CSR and Land Management-Cairn Vedanta, CEO Highways- DSC Ltd. etc.

He was Awarded:-

  • Best All-Rounder Student Trophy’ at IIM Lucknow and distinction at NIT Surat.
  • Joint Secretary Indo French Technical Association, Vice President Indo French Alumni Network, Member Senate IIIT Kota and Fellow Aspire Circle.
  • Guest Faculty at reputed institutes such as IIM Indore, Garhwal University, National Institute of Training for Highway Engineers and IIT Jammu.
