Prof (Dr.) Sukamal Deb is PhD-Rural Development, MA-Rural Development, PG Diploma in Business Entrepreneurship and Bachelor of Social Work. He is currently Working as Associate Dean at Anant National University (India’s First Design University), Ahmedabad. Indian Designs and Innovative Crafts (INDIC), dedicated to documentations and development of languishing crafts with focus on NER, Policy Interventions, Fellowship and advocacy. He acted as Mentor-IIM Calcutta for Women Led Enterprises and Start-ups in NER and Consultant to the Guidepoint, Expert Network for Business Insights, NY. His previous assignment was as Dy. CEO, NER, KVIC, Ministry of MSME, Govt. of India. His specializations are: Lean Start-up Principles for Social Impact, Human Centered Design, Business Model for Social Enterprise, Social Sector Leadership on Non-profit, Global Social Entrepreneurship, Leadership, Fund Raising, Financial Modeling, Organisatonal Capacity, Social Impact from Haas School of Business, University of California etc. He has membership in 22 Organisations / Committees (National Committees, World Bank Project, RBI / Banks and Chambers of Commerce, State Govt etc).
