Dr. Surender S Ghonkrokta, combination of an author, academician, technologist, bureaucrat; has been teacher with Universities, worked as technologist in Industry, penned 4 books, 2 chapters in books and published 20 research papers and 120 other publications. He had been chairman of State Food Commission, Director FSSAI, Drug controller, Delhi and Member Secretary Pullution Control Committee, Delhi. By education a CFTRI trained Food Technologist, Ph. D in Management and FMS, Delhi alumni with exposure of UK education system during masters in Rural development at Reading University. As a bureaucrat, handled sales tax/GST/VAT, Food, Consumers affairs, Industry, Skill development, Health, tourism and Magistracy (DM). He is widely travelled internationally and has led Indian delegations to codex, WHO and other international fora.

Presently he is President- Centre for Quality and Food Safety (CQFS), New Delhi and founding partner of Satvikam Advisors LLP.
