 Mr. Subhas Bhattacharjee is a Graduate with Honors in Agriculture and Post Graduate in Food Technology. He is a highly accomplished Food Technologist and Agri-Business Professional with over four decades of extensive experience in Food Processing, Agri-Horticulture Operations, Marketing Management, Project Development, Capacity Building, and Institutional Leadership. He has served in key leadership and advisory positions across Government organizations, Central Public Sector Enterprises, Research Institutions, and Industry Associations.A visionary professional with strong expertise in agri-business development, value addition, food processing technologies, organic agriculture, rural entrepreneurship, and market linkage development, he has played a pioneering role in promoting the food processing sector and agro-based industries in North Eastern India.

He is widely recognized for his strategic contributions toward development of traditional foods, Geographical Indication (GI) promotion, food processing infrastructure, organic agriculture initiatives, and industrial linkages in the North East Region.
